just finished the final shoots on sweet talk. I’m really proud of what we have achieved. I am really excited and looking forward to seeing the film fully edited. A lot of work has gone into this production so far. now on the final stretch now and I can’t wait for the end result. Onset I loved working with some great people and really getting stuck in. On this shoot, I used my rode wireless go mic in combination with a boom Mic to catch footsteps as well as dialogue. On The last shoot day for a few hours, I ended up being in charge The whole set as the director went for a meeting. it went well

today I was at the Japanese gardens in Portsmouth Getting inspiration and researching for a New screenplay i’m developing. This story is about wandering samurai in feudal Japan Who falls in love with cooking. he travels from village to village showing off his new sushi creations. He meets friends and enemies along the way.

Testing out and practising with my Sound kit today at a test shoot for Sweet talk. It has been fun playing around with my sound kit again, Zoom F6 .This week has been good as I am able to come to up with a plan for the next two days for sweet talk. This will be important as I also have to Think about my other responsibilities on The day such as script supervisor and Gaffer.
10 & 11 April 2021
First shoot of sweet talk went well. I’m excited to start seeing my screenplay coming to life. Onset I was a vital crew member I was doing my official roles on set : lighting and script supervisor but I also ended up doing some running as it was a hectic set and coordinating the actors. I think on This shoot I really came into my own and I became the backbone of the team. I will not forget the lessons, I learnt on this shoot any time soon.
